Heroku Managed Inference and Agents is deprecating select models

Heroku’s Managed Inference and Agents add-on is deprecating several models. During each model’s deprecation period, requests continue to succeed but return a deprecation warning header, and new add-ons can no longer be provisioned on that model’s single-model plan. Before the end-of-life (EOL) date, single-model plans for these models are converted to the standard plan. After the EOL date, requests to these models return HTTP 410.

We recommend migrating to the replacement model as soon as possible to avoid service interruptions.

The following models are deprecated, with a deprecation date of June 15, 2026 and an EOL date of July 15, 2026. Migrate to gpt-oss-120b:
