Stack image updated for OpenSSL security issue
Change effective on 01 March 2016
The Heroku Cedar-14 stack image has been updated with the most recent versions of installed packages. The update includes the following changes:
- Upgrade of the OpenSSL package to address the DROWN security issue.
Although our teams have verified that the Heroku Platform is not affected by DROWN, we’ve decided to patch the stack image with the suggested Ubuntu updates. The new stack image will be rolled out automatically in the next 24 hours.
