Node.js 26.0.0 is now available

Change effective on 06 May 2026

Node.js version 26.0.0 has been made available for builds on Heroku. For additional information, please see our article on Node.js Support.

In addition, the Node.js 20 release line is no longer supported as it has reached end-of-life (EOL) status. Existing Node.js 20 apps will continue to build and run but a EOL warning will now be displayed during builds. As Node.js 20 will no longer receive security updates, it is strongly recommended to upgrade to a newer version of Node.js as soon as possible.

Heroku-22 and Heroku-24 stacks updated Heroku AppLink now supports Salesforce external client apps
