Upcoming disk size enforcement on forked Heroku Postgres databases

Change effective on 17 January 2024

Starting February 1, 2024, forked Heroku Postgres databases must have enough disk space to contain the data from the parent database. If the data in the parent database exceeds the disk size of the forked database plan, you can’t fork the database.

For more information, see Forking Your Heroku Postgres Database.
