Changes to Heroku Buildpacks gallery on Heroku Elements

Change effective on 26 July 2023

Previously, the Buildpacks gallery on Heroku Elements listed all Heroku Buildpacks deployed to Heroku. To limit the number of duplicate buildpacks, the gallery now only showcases a list of curated Heroku Buildpacks. This change doesn’t affect which buildpacks work with Heroku nor limit the creation of new buildpacks.

You can still register custom buildpacks and search for them using the Heroku CLI. The only change is the Buildpacks that are shown on Heroku Elements.
