3D Secure enabled for online payments

Change effective on 26 July 2023

We’re enabling 3D Secure in the payment processor that handles payments from our customers to Heroku. 3D Secure is a protocol that helps to prevent fraud by using dynamic authentication methods. We will roll out this change to various regions over the next several weeks. If you encounter issues with adding or updating a credit card on your Heroku account, see this Knowledge Base article.
