New Go versions available

Change effective on 18 August 2021

The following Go versions are now available on Heroku:

  • 1.17
  • 1.16.7 (will be used when go1.16 is specified)
  • 1.16.6
  • 1.16.5
  • 1.16.4
  • 1.16.3
  • 1.16.2
  • 1.15.10 (will be used when go1.15 is specified)

Note there’s currently an issue with Go 1.16 and installing commands/packages not referenced by the main module. See here for more details and discussion.
