Python 3.9 is now the default for new Python apps

Change effective on 06 April 2021

New Python apps that do not specify a Python version now default to using Python 3.9, rather than Python 3.6.

To use a version other than Python 3.9, see our documentation on specifying a Python version.

Existing apps are unaffected.
