Ruby 2.5.3 now available on Heroku

There were some missing files in the release packages of 2.5.2 which are necessary for building on some systems. To fix this issue, Ruby 2.5.3 was released. These issues for Ruby 2.5.2 are not present for Heroku customers. However, we always recommend running the latest release for your minor Ruby version.

This release is just for fixing the packaging issue. This release doesn’t contain any additional bug fixes from 2.5.2.
