Update to Heroku Redis Connection Limits

Change effective on 01 February 2017

Premium and Private Heroku Redis instances have new, higher connection counts. The new connection counts will apply to newly provisioned Heroku Redis Premium and Private instances. Customers will need to provision a new instance and transfer their data to it to receive the new connection limits. The Heroku Redis Technical Characterization documentation has more details about the connection limits and how to provision a new instance.
